I choose this one because my wife HATES brussels sprouts. I love them!
Every Thanksgiving its the same old story….green beans or brussels sprouts? Every year, its the same old outcome. No surprise, I guess. In 2002 brussels sprouts were voted the most hated veg in Britain…..no help due their strong smell when boiled (caused by sulphur compounds). However, swap your mom’s boiled mushy sprouts for a smokey sprout hash and I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

There is a growing body of evidence pointing to brussels sprouts as a powerful cancer prevention food. Plant phytonutrients found in brussels sprouts enhance the activity of the body’s natural defence systems to protect against disease. Sprouts are also an excellent source of vitamins K and C.
